Automotive components sales surged 55.8% yoy to S$62.5 million in FY2011, lifted by the burgeoning demand for domestic vehicle brands in China. This business unit, which accounted for 41.3% of total revenue, remains the Group's second largest revenue contributor, closely behind HDD component segment. Segment profit was at S$5.3 million in FY2011 as compared to S$6.1 million in FY2010.
